Assessment and Reporting
National Assessments were cancelled in Summer 2020 and have been cancelled again for Summer 2021.
End of year Reports to parents and careers will of course still be produced.
Teachers will continue to make assessments, regularly review and plan to meet children’s needs. We will continue to gather termly data to help us track and target children’s progress.
Parents’ Evenings will continue but will take place remotely using Microsoft Teams.
Parents and Carers are welcome to get in touch and ask us for an appointment to discuss any aspect of their child’s attainment and progress at any time.
Staff are continually assessing your child’s progress to ensure that they are appropriately supported and challenged in their work.
Comparative data against national standards is published at the end of the Early Years Foundation Stage, Year 1 and 2 Phonics Check, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
Each term we offer a Parents’/Carers’ meeting with the child’s teacher. At the end of the Summer term we send home written reports. You are of course welcome to either catch or book an appointment with your child’s teacher at other times.
