Year 6 Leavers 2021

2021 was a special year for our Year 6 children who moved on to their secondary education. Here are some videos sharing and celebrating their time at The Beacon.

‘Living life in all its fullness’ (John 10:10) - February 2021

We’ve been thinking about Perseverance in our Collective Worship this term (first half of Spring 2021), and how we can encourage each other and keep each other going.  Everyone is a unique individual with their own talents, things that are special to them. We all have favourite ways to ‘live life in all its fullness’ (John 10:10) - which is our vision for our school and everyone in it.  Even in lockdown, we can support each other to ‘live life in all its fullness’.

In this film, you can get to know our staff team a bit better and find out the ways we all ‘keep ourselves going’ in tough times, the ways we ‘live life in all its fullness’ and care for our mental health.

A big thank you to Miss Wylie for drawing this all together and to everyone who contributed.  We hope it brings you a bit of light relief and something to smile at.

Christmas 2020

We all know things are very different this year.  We can't perform live for our families this year, all performances are virtual.

Sadly, due to COVID isolations, we have only had a week to rehearse and film them so it's been very tight for time.  (We'd planned to do more over a 3-week period, but over half our school was in isolation.)

Well done to all our children and staff for achieving some lovely Christmas performances in a week!  We realise this is very different, but hope you all enjoy the children's songs and performances.
